When will the time come when people are allowed to get a cold or the flu without being required to be tested for COVID-19?

Here I am, not working today, waiting for test results to be returned “sometime” within 72-hours of my test.

I had slight body aches and a stuffy, sometimes runny nose.  No fever.  I was told to stay home, get tested and wait for the results.

What if I didn’t have the benefit of taking paid sick days?  What if my family depended on me working every day?

Who will be the person to declare one day that being sick isn’t a crime and that staying home is optional?

Is our “punishment” turning out to be worse than our “crime”?
